Privacy Policy — Syncrobit Media
Last updated: 26 October 2026 · Application: Syncrobit Media · Website: https://syncrobit.net
Syncrobit Media (“the Application”) is a private automation application used by its owner to publish and manage video content on the owner’s own YouTube channel(s) through the YouTube API Services, integrated with the owner’s self-hosted scheduling and workflow tools. This policy explains what data the Application accesses, how it is used, stored, shared, retained and deleted.
Use of YouTube API Services
The Application uses YouTube API Services. By using the Application, users are agreeing to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Google’s handling of data is governed by the Google Privacy Policy.
Data we access
With the channel owner’s explicit consent via Google OAuth, the Application accesses only the owner’s own YouTube and Google account data needed to operate the owner’s channel(s), including:
- channel information (channel ID, title and related channel metadata);
- video information (video IDs, titles, descriptions, thumbnails, playlists, publication status and schedules);
- video files and metadata supplied by the owner for upload and publication;
- channel and video performance statistics (for example views, watch time and engagement metrics); and
- OAuth access and refresh tokens issued by Google for the owner’s authorised account.
No YouTube user data is collected from anyone other than the Application owner’s own authorised account.
How data is used
All data accessed through the YouTube API Services is used solely to operate the owner’s own channel(s): to upload and publish videos, set and update video metadata, schedule publications, organise playlists, and read performance statistics for editorial and operational decisions.
Limited Use disclosure
The Application’s use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
In particular, the Application does not use Google or YouTube user data for advertising, does not sell it, does not use it for creditworthiness or lending purposes, and does not allow humans to read it except where necessary to provide or improve the owner-facing features described in this policy, where required for security or legal compliance, or with the owner’s explicit consent.
Sharing
We do not sell, rent or share Google or YouTube user data with third parties, and we do not use it for advertising or profiling. Data is processed on the owner’s own self-hosted infrastructure and is transmitted only between that infrastructure and Google / YouTube API Services as needed to perform the actions described above. The Application does not allow third parties to serve content, including advertisements, through it.
Cookies and this website
This website (syncrobit.net) is a static information website. It does not set cookies, does not run analytics or advertising trackers, and does not collect personal information from visitors.
Data storage, security and retention
OAuth credentials and API data are stored on the owner’s private, self-hosted servers, protected by access controls, and transmitted over encrypted connections. OAuth tokens are retained only while the owner continues to use the Application and has not revoked access. Channel and video statistics and operational records are retained only for as long as they are useful for operating the owner’s channel(s).
Stored data can be deleted on request by contacting us at the address below. When access is revoked or the Application is disconnected, stored OAuth tokens are deleted and API access stops.
Revoking access
In addition to the Application’s normal procedure for deleting stored data, the owner can revoke the Application’s access to their data at any time via the Google security settings page at https://security.google.com/settings/security/permissions (also available via myaccount.google.com/permissions), which immediately stops all API access.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes materially, the updated version will be published on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
